AKAISHI - for comfortable, beautiful feet

Technology

Designing of outsoles, insoles, lasts, and upper belts are all done by 3D computer software. AKAISHI improves the accuracy and speed of designing by digitally managing design data. In addition, product quality is improved by using computers to analyze simulations of strength, flexibility, and softness of materials.

Design Technology Testing

Evaluating the effectiveness of each product is an essential part of the AKAISHI design process. Experimental validation is conducted using prototypes made with a modeling machine. If the results obtained are not sufficient, the design is reviewed and the process is repeated until all goals are met.

Tests

STABILITY

Stability and maintaining posture while standing are tested as a performance check of the outsole.

FOOT PRESSURE

Ensures proper fitting of the footbed and sole for dispersion of pressure throughout the feet and maximizing sole adherability [to the bottom of the foot] while walking.

ELECTROMYOGRAPHY

Correcting the center of gravity which is slanted to the outside of the foot. This is typically seen in bowed-legs.

THERMOGRAPH

Promoting correction of the hallux valgus by physically stimulating the abductor hallucis muscle (abductor muscle of the big toe).
